FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the chemistry of high-molecular compounds, namely to new compounds of alcohol-soluble polyfluorene molecular brushes with polymethacrylic acid side chains. This method includes the preparation of a polyfluorene multicenter macroinitiator by synthesizing monomer: 2,7-dibromo-9,9-bis(3-hydroxypyl) fluorene, polyfluorene with side hydroxyl groups using Suzuki polycondensation and modification of polyfluorene with alpha-bromisobutyryl bromide with the addition of potassium iodide; interaction of the obtained macroinitiator with tert-butyl methacrylate using anisole, copper (II) chloride, 2-ethylhexanoate of tin (II), 4,4'-dinonyl-2,2'-bipyridine and obtaining the final product by treating a polyfluorene copolymer with polytret-butyl methacrylate side chains in methylene chloride with trifluoroacetic acid of the general structural formula:
, where: n is the degree of polymerization of the main chain equal to 20-100; m is the degree of polymerization of the side chains equal to 10-150.
EFFECT: creation of molecular polyfluorene brushes with polymethacrylic acid side chains, which can be used to create nano– and microcapsule shells used for targeted drug delivery, as well as solubilizing nanocontainers for hydrophobic compounds used for photodynamic therapy and diagnostics.
