FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a molecular cellulose brush with polymethacrylic acid side chains. The method includes obtaining a cellulose macroinitiator by the interaction of microcrystalline cellulose with 2-bromoisobutyroyl bromide in a medium of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride, the interaction of the obtained macroinitiator with tert-butyl methacrylate using 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride, copper diethylamide bromide and penta copolymer of cellulose with polytet-butyl methacrylate side chains of trifluoroacetic acid in methylene chloride.
EFFECT: resulting compound is biocompatible, stable when stored at room temperature, alcohol- and water-soluble, and also exhibits polyelectrolyte and amphiphilic properties and can be used to create shells of nano- and microcapsules used for targeted drug delivery, as well as solubilizing nanocontainers for hydrophobic compounds used for photodynamic therapy and diagnostics.
