FIELD: nuclear power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nuclear reactor with pressurized water. The reactor (1) includes a safety system containing a safety device. The safety device is designed to form a passage that eliminates the fluid isolation between the second circuit (200) and the first circuit (100) and establishes the second circuit fluid present in at least one steam generator (210) in the fluid communication with the first circuit (100). Moreover, the fluid of the second circuit contained in at least one steam generator (200) can flow in the housing (10), while previously passing through the first circuit (100).
EFFECT: increase in the safety of the nuclear reactor by minimizing the risk of the hull being forced through due to the focusing effect.
