FIELD: communication technology.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the means for designing the control information of the uplink channel (UCI). A matrix is determined on the terminal device containing a set of non-zero linear combination coefficients for quantization of the channel between the terminal device and the network device, and the matrix contains spatial components and frequency components. The cyclic shift of the frequency components of the matrix is determined in such a way that the target coefficient from the set of non-zero coefficients of the linear combination is located in the frequency component with a predetermined index of frequency components in the shifted matrix. The first indication is generated, indicating the spatial component associated with the target coefficient in the matrix. The control information of the uplink channel containing the first indication is transmitted to the network device.
EFFECT: reduction of the service data for reporting parameters in “UCI Part 1” and “UCI Part 2”.
