FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. The strip core is formed by laminating a plurality of curved bodies obtained by forming a textured coated electrical steel sheet. The coating is formed on at least one surface of the grain oriented electrical steel sheet so that the coating is on the outside, in the thickness direction of the sheet. The curved body has a curved region obtained by bending a textured coated electrical steel sheet and a flat region adjacent to the curved region. The number of deformation twins present in the curved region in the side view is five or less per 1 mm length of the center line in the sheet thickness direction in the curved region. When the area extending at a distance of 40 times the thickness of the sheet on both sides in the peripheral direction from the center of the curved area on the outer peripheral surface of the curved body, is determined as the area subject to mechanical deformation. The proportion of the area where the coating is not damaged at any position along the circumferential direction in the flat area inside the area subjected to mechanical deformation is 90% or more.
