FIELD: geodynamic monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for geodynamic monitoring and can be used to assess the activity of fault zones and the abnormal process of displacement caused by the operation of underground gas storage facilities. Essence: reservoir pressure is measured, the values of the vertical and horizontal components of the displacement vectors are measured. In this case, the first measurement cycle is carried out at the maximum possible pressure in the reservoir layer, and all subsequent cycles are carried out in the autumn period at the maximum pressure in the reservoir layer. Pulsation and evolution graphs are built. Geodynamic processes are evaluated based on the results of the evaluation of the graphs built.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the assessment of the activity of fault zones and the anomalous process of displacement in the territory of underground gas storage facilities by excluding the geomechanics component caused by pressure changes in the reservoir layer from the measured values of the displacement vectors, as well as reducing the number of observation cycles per year by half.
