FIELD: mining; controlling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for geomechanical monitoring of underground objects and can be used to control, assess the state and mutual influence of underground reservoirs of hydrocarbons, toxic and radioactive wastes, helium and other storage products created in impermeable rocks. Physical basis of the method is the emission of gases contained in the rock, including radioactive radon and thoron, during its destruction, i.e. at achievement of maximum stress state and development of cracks. On the investigated territory, gas survey of soil gases, including radon and thoron, is carried out regularly, along profile lines crossing the location of the reservoirs along their diameters. Length of profile lines is at least twice the depth of location of controlled underground facilities, which makes it possible to determine the position and contours of the zone of maximum stress state around the underground reservoir and by location and configuration of this zone to control the state and mutual influence of underground reservoirs in time.
EFFECT: faster monitoring of geomechanical state of underground reservoirs and their mutual influence.
