FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular, to designs of aerial vehicles with vertical takeoff and landing. Aerial vehicle (AV) comprises ringed front and rear propulsors or groups of propulsors – impellers, for vertical takeoff/landing, wherein each is connected with an independently operating electric engine; an additional auxiliary drive pusher or a group of drive pushers for horizontal rectilinear flight, wherein each is connected with an independently operating electric engine. The impellers are installed in equal amounts in the front and rear of the AV in the direction of movement in a horizontal plane symmetrically relative to each other and to the longitudinal axis of the AV. The drive pushers are installed in a horizontal plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the AV symmetrically relative to each other and to the longitudinal axis of the AV. The electric engines of the drive pushers are installed inside open load-bearing spatial tubular frames - screens.

EFFECT: reduction in the energy consumption for horizontal rectilinear flight, increase in thrust and speed of flight, protection of the propulsors from collisions with the ground and other obstacles.
