FIELD: hair care.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for treatment of hair shafts. The device contains two arms movable relatively to each other, adapted for being brought into a spread state for introduction of a strand of hair between them and a non-spread state for treatment of a strand of hair, wherein arms are made with the possibility of movement in the non-spread state along the strand, two contact surfaces made, respectively, on two arms and located opposite to each other, wherein at least one of contact surfaces is a heating one, at least one steam outlet made on one of arms at a distance from the corresponding contact surface for impact with steam on hair introduced between arms, a retaining structure providing the possibility of at least partial steam retention and at least partially located on another of the specified arms, a hairbrush with prongs, located on the specified one of arms, on which the specified at least one steam outlet is made, wherein the specified at least one steam outlet is between the hairbrush and contact surfaces.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at the development of a new hair treatment device, which would be easy-to-use and effective, in particular, would give a satisfying result from the first passage along hair, including volume and styling; in addition, it prevents clogging steam outlets, which occurs due to the presence of different particles on user’s hair, and, consequently, prevents the deterioration of operational characteristics of these devices.
