FIELD: personal usage items.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hair styling device (1) comprising a portable treatment device (2) comprising two lugs (3, 4) made so that they form forceps having two opposed surfaces (5, 6), providing possibility of hair strand squeezing between them. Portable treatment device (2) comprises steam spraying means (7) configured to spray steam from first (5) of two said surfaces towards second (6) of two said surfaces. Device comprises means (9, 10) for retaining sprayed steam between two surfaces (5, 6) pressed to each other.
EFFECT: one of technical problems solved by the invention consists in proposing a device for hair styling, the characteristics of which are comparable to a device for laying with high steam output, but having lower steam capacity.
