SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hairdressing tools for hair styling of straightening forceps type, in particular to similar hairdressing tools equipped with a steam generation system. A hairdressing tool for hair straightening is disclosed, containing a straightening surface having at least one flat part intended for a contact with a hair strand, a liquid reservoir, a heating element, a sponge communicating with the reservoir so that to be impregnated with liquid. The sponge extends between a distal end intended for a contact with the heating element and a proximal end, to which liquid from the reservoir is supplied, and sponge guiding means are made so that to provide a possibility of its movement from a passive position to an active position, in which the sponge is in contact with the heating element for generation of steam, and guiding means contain an elastic guiding device in contact with the periphery of the specified sponge at the distal end.

EFFECT: creation of a hairdressing tool for hair straightening, which is extremely reliable and durable, which is achieved, in particular, by prevention of crumpling of a sponge, when using a straightening device; a hairdressing tool is provided for hair straightening with simple user maintenance, having an especially simple, economical, and reliable structure, as well as providing quick and continuous steam generation.
