FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns an amino acid composition for stimulation of muscle protein synthesis. A method for stimulation of muscle protein synthesis includes the administration to a subject of a composition containing from 1 g to 4 g of following concentrations of amino acids in terms of % wt./wt.: from 1 to 2% of histidine, from 9 to 11% of isoleucine, from 35 to 38% of leucine, from 14 to 17% of lysine, from 2 to 4% of methionine, from 5 to 7% of phenylalanine, from 8 to 9% of threonine, from 9 to 11% of valine, from 0.005 to 0.8% of tryptophane, and from 8 to 11% of arginine. Moreover, the stimulation of muscle protein synthesis is increased by about 50% compared to a subject, who is not administered with the specified amino acid composition. The proposed composition stimulates muscle protein synthesis by more than 50% in doses from 1 g to 4 g with exercises or without exercises.
EFFECT: invention allows for an increase in muscle protein synthesis in a subject, when using the claimed composition in claimed doses.
