SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a carbon sorbent by partial gasification of coal in a fluidized bed at a temperature not lower than 650°C using air blast, characterized in that the coal supplied to the fluidized bed is pre-dried to a moisture content in the range of 0-35 wt.%.
EFFECT: improvement of method for producing a carbon sorbent.
