FIELD: refrigeration.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refrigeration equipment, namely, to apparatuses for concentrating solutions by means of freezing. Cryogenic concentrator for freezing liquid media, consisting of a vacuum thermos with a body placed over said thermos, wherein a heat-insulating cover, a crystalliser, Peltier elements, radiators and a fan are located in said body; and characterised by the catalyst being configured to remove heat from the concentrated medium, wherein the lower part thereof is submerged in the concentrated medium and the upper part is made with a plate cooled by the Peltier elements.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and possibility of programming the cooling algorithms and adjusting the crystallisation rate.
