FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment used in concentration of aqueous solutions and can be used in food, chemical and related industries to increase concentration of solutions by removing water. Cryo-concentrator of carrousel-type food fluids contains a heat-insulated container-cone bottom with a nozzle for draining the concentrate, a refrigerating machine, a heat heater. Cryo-concentrator has a product dosage device, additional crystallizer vessels and a bath. Bath is made in the form of a closed ring with solid bottom and lateral annular walls located on supports. In the lower part of the wall there is a horizontal carousel with a drive and a base of the carousel mounted on the inner annular wall of the bath. Carousel base is made in the form of cylinder with top cover. Refrigerating machine is installed in the lower part of the bath, and the device dosing the product is installed from above the bath. On the cylindrical wall of the base, guides are fixed in radial direction to accommodate the main and additional cylindrical heat-insulated containers-crystallizers with conical bottom. Heater is formed by blocks of plates, and rods are installed on base cover. Rods of blocks with plates arranged above each pair of blocks are fixed on the rods to close the corresponding crystallizer reservoir when the blocks are lowered into the vessel. Each unit consists of two separate independent plates, inside each of which there is a cavity for supply of heat- or coolant in them. Rods are made spring-loaded and are installed with the possibility of performing in process of rotation of reciprocal motion carousel in vertical plane by means of interaction through pushers with end disk-cam mounted inside the carousel base and representing a stepped ring fixed in the inner part of the bath, wherein rod pushers are arranged to support working surface of cam plate and to slide along disk-cam when substrate cover is turned.
EFFECT: invention ensures achievement of technical result, which consists in increase of productivity with possibility of continuous cryo-concentration process with simultaneous reduction of duration of auxiliary operations.
