FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to measuring equipment, and it is intended for the measurement of medium interface levels in different industries. A fuel canister for fuel transportation contains one capacity sensor of a medium interface level. Moreover, the sensor contains a sensitive element, which is a case for electrodes, which is a metal profile formed by the connection of several tubes between each other, containing a rigidity element. Each profile tube contains a slot on its side adjacent to the measured medium. The case for electrodes contains electrodes rigidly fixed in each of profile tubes, which are metal tubes with the same linear capacity, but different in length. The main electrode has a length predominantly equal to a length of the case for electrodes, and each compensation electrode has a length less than the length of the main electrode. The main electrode and each compensation electrode are made with the possibility of connection to an electronic computational unit of the sensor by metal rods.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability and manufacturability of a structure, and, as a result, increase in the accuracy of measurement of a medium interface level.
