FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measuring the levels of interfaces between media in various industries. The fuel canister for transporting fuel contains a capacitive level sensor of the media interface; moreover, the sensor contains a sensitive element, which is a housing for electrodes, which is a metal profile formed by connecting several tubes to each other, containing a stiffening element connecting the adjoining tubes of the profile. In addition, each profile tube contains a ventilation hole and a slot. At the same time, the body for electrodes contains electrodes rigidly fixed in each of the profile tubes, which are metal tubes with the same linear capacity, but differing in length, and the main electrode is made along the length equal to the length of the body for the electrodes, and each compensation electrode is made along the length less than the length of the main electrode. And the sensitive element is configured to be connected to the media separation sensor base through holes for fasteners.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the reliability and manufacturability of the design and, as a consequence, an increase in the accuracy of measurements of the level of the interface between media.
