FIELD: personal hygiene.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a compositions of a toothbrushing agent and its use. The proposed composition contains non-melted spherical waterless amorphous particles of silica gel obtained by a method, which includes precipitation followed by calcination for removal of water to obtain dense material of silicon dioxide in the form of particles, where the specified particles of silica gel have: a) a pore volume from 0.03 ml/g to less than 0.1 ml/g; b) an average particle size from 1 mcm to 10 mcm; c) a surface area according to BET of to m²/g or less; d) oil absorption from 20 to 50 ml/100 g, and e) a water content of less than 0.2 wt.%. The use of the above-mentioned composition of a toothbrushing agent is also proposed for cleaning, polishing and removal of plaque from the surface of teeth or dentures.

EFFECT: composition can effectively clean, polish and remove plaques from the surface of teeth or false teeth without a high degree of abrasion, thereby reducing scratching or damage to the surface of a tooth or a false tooth.
