FIELD: radio location.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio location and can be used in determining the coordinates of the target in a request-response system in secondary radio location systems, primarily including antennas, the apertures whereof are formed by one-dimensional emitter lines. Claimed system for determining the coordinates of the target in a request-response system, placed on a carrier, includes a first target-aiming antenna, the aperture whereof is made in the form of a one-dimensional emitter line, and the working sector of the antenna pattern whereof corresponds to at least part of a circular cone, the axis of rotation whereof matches the direction of the aperture of the emitter line, a "request-response" system, a digital computing apparatus (DCA) configured to calculate the coordinates of the target at any position of the carrier and the antennas on the carrier, a carrier altitude sensor, angular position sensors of the first target-aiming antenna. The system additionally includes a second target-aiming antenna, the working sector of the antenna pattern whereof partially matches the working sector of the antenna pattern of the first antenna, and angular position sensors of the second antenna. The aperture of the second antenna is therein made in the form of a one-dimensional emitter line, the working sector of the antenna pattern of the second antenna corresponds to part of the circular cone, the axis of rotation whereof matches the direction of the aperture of the emitter line of the second antenna and is non-parallel to the axis of rotation of the circular cone corresponding to the antenna pattern of the first antenna. The DCA is configured to compare at least four parameters, constituting the position of the target, the position of the carrier, and the aiming direction of the first and second antennas, to determine the location of the target.

EFFECT: provided possibility of determining the coordinates of the target if information about the altitude of the target is not found in the "request-response" system.
