FIELD: radio location.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio location and can be used in determining the coordinates of the target in a request-response system in secondary radio location systems, primarily including antennas, the apertures whereof are formed by one-dimensional emitter lines. Claimed method additionally uses a second antenna intended for obtaining a second target bearing plane perpendicular to the line of location of the emitters of the second antenna. The second target bearing plane is used by the method for determining the coordinates of the target by solving a system of equations describing, in a set coordinate system (e.g., in the NSK coordinate system), the target range sphere, the first target bearing plane (plane of target bearing by the first antenna), and the second target bearing plane (plane of target bearing by the second antenna). The first and second antennas are made in the form of a one-dimensional emitter line and have a preset angular direction of the lines of location of emitters thereof on the carrier, wherein the lines of location of the emitters of the first and second antennas are non-parallel and are at a given angle to each other. The line lattices of both antennas form the antenna patterns in the form of funnels (circular cones), the axes of rotation whereof match the lines of location of the line emitters. Each antenna has its own preset aiming direction. In the method, the distance from the carrier to the target, the altitude of the carrier, the angular spatial position of the carrier, the set angular direction of the line of location of the emitter line of the first antenna relative to the carrier, the aiming direction of the first antenna, and the target location plane perpendicular to the line of location of the line of emitters of the first antenna are used as parameters. Additionally, the method uses the set angular direction of the line of location of the emitters of the second antenna relative to the carrier, the aiming direction of the second antenna, and the target location plane perpendicular to the line of location of the line of emitters of the second antenna as parameters.
EFFECT: provided possibility of determining the coordinates of the target if information about the altitude of the target is not found in the "request-response" system.
