FIELD: hydrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the hydrometallurgy of precious metals, in particular to the extraction of platinum, palladium and gold from technological solutions for the processing of platinum-containing materials by sorption. The extraction of precious metals is carried out from technological solutions containing 0.1-3 M HCl and an excess of Cu(II), Ni(II), Fe(III), Pb(II), Se(IV), Te(IV) ions, as well as up to 150 g/l of chloride ions. Sorption of Au(III), Pt(IV) and Pd(II) is carried out with an anion-exchange sorbent of a gel structure based on a copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene containing trimethylammonium functional groups, and desorption with a hydrochloric acid solution of thiourea under static or dynamic conditions.
EFFECT: method allows to separate platinum, palladium and gold from copper, nickel, iron, lead, selenium and tellurium, to increase the degree of extraction of target metal ions while increasing the kinetics of sorption and desorption processes.
