FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to the development of deposits by an open method and the restoration of areas disturbed by open mining, and can be used when removing a fertile soil layer. The milling auger machine for removing the fertile soil layer and loading it into vehicles includes an excavating milling auger working body, a frame, a running gear, an intermediate conveyor, a transfer hopper and an unloading conveyor. The excavation milling and screw working body is made of composite elements with individual drives. Each component is fixed at the edges on rocking levers and hydraulic cylinders with the possibility of changing the cutting line in height when removing the fertile soil layer by each component of the working body. An intermediate conveyor is installed on each component element, supplying the removed soil to the transfer hopper. The unloading conveyor is made with a swivel base with the possibility of turning the conveyor ninety degrees to the right and left of the axis of the machine.
EFFECT: improving the quality of extraction of the fertile soil layer, which reduces losses and impoverishment.
