SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular, to a charging station for electric vehicles. Charging station for electric cats comprises a charging terminal for charging at least one electric vehicle using electricity received from a power supply network; a tool for receiving electricity from the power supply network, i.e. the power part; a control unit of the charging station, wherein multiple power parts with one common point of connection to the electrical network are installed in a single body of the charging terminal via a common bus, as well as a control unit containing a controller configured to simultaneously establish a connection with multiple electric cars by the pilot protocol, including the control of the permitted power consumption, implemented on the side of the electric car but controlled via the control unit of the terminal of the charging station; and the power part is configured to activate and deactivate the power supply to multiple electric cars simultaneously due to being implemented on triac switches.

EFFECT: simultaneous connection of multiple electric cars to a single electric charging station and distribution of a limited load between multiple electric cars by the charging station.
