FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for fragment reposition in case of transcondylar fractures of the humerus in children. The introduction of the rod is performed into the elbow joint bent at 90 degrees through the skin of the posterior surface of the elbow joint along the midline between the proximal and distal fragments of the humerus through the ulnar fossa and controlling one end of the rod, resting the other end against the top of the ulnar fossa of the proximal fragment of the humerus, while pressing rod down and causing the rod to slip from the slopes of the cubital fossa, centering, distraction, wedging and comparison of the distal fragment to the proximal one is achieved. After comparing the bone fragments in the correct anatomical relationship, the rod is removed.
EFFECT: method ensures restoration of the anatomical relationships of the bone fragments of the humerus, will allow in a short time to obtain a good functional result without complications and technical difficulties due to the centering of the distal and proximal fragments.
