SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, namely to the means of converting the polarization of waves in a waveguide, and can be used in antenna systems in the C, X, Ku, K, Ka frequency ranges. A horn antenna with an elliptical polarizer contains a segment of an input waveguide, a segment of an intermediate waveguide having an ellipse-shaped cross section, and a segment of an output waveguide conjugated with a corrugated antenna horn sequentially arranged and connected by matching transitions, segments of the input and output waveguides have the shape of a truncated cone conjugated by an ellipse-shaped base with a segment of an intermediate waveguide, and a base having the shape of a circle, with segments of a circular waveguide located at the input and output of the antenna, at the same time, on the other side, the input circular waveguide is coupled with a mounting flange having an axial channel of rectangular cross-section, and the output circular waveguide is coupled with an elliptical horn antenna irradiator having the shape of a truncated cone, and the lengths of the segments of the circular waveguides are multiples of of the wavelength in the circular waveguide, the lengths of the segments of the input and output transitions are multiples of of the wavelength in these transitions, the length of the intermediate waveguide is a multiple of the wavelength in the elliptical waveguide, while on the outer surface of the horn, made in the form of a truncated cone, concentrically arranged elliptical corrugations having the same height, the distance between which is a multiple of of the wavelength, are placed coaxially with the longitudinal axis of the antenna.

EFFECT: possibility of manufacturing a horn antenna with an elliptical polarizer of an all-metal monolithic complex configuration of a structure manufactured using selective laser melting (SLM) technology.
