FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, and in particular to devices for producing metal powders by the method for gas-dynamic spraying of melts of metals and alloys. The proposed device comprises a housing with a fitting for supplying compressed gas from a high-pressure chamber, a nipple with a central channel for supplying a metal and/or alloy melt, a protective cover for the nipple, a nozzle ring and a swirler with through slots of a rectangular profile made in it, connected to nozzle ring by means of a nut. The nozzle ring contains blowing nozzles, and the swirler grooves are made at an angle of 45–75 degrees to its central axis.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of atomizing gas and increased yield of usable metal powders.
