FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: device is designed to separate at least one sausage product from another sausage product, in particular, from a garland of sausage products, in the area of the strapping section formed with two strapping points between the sausage product and the garland of sausage products, in which the strapping section is at least partially tied with twine. This continues for strapping from one sausage product to another, while an automatically operating cutting device for simultaneous cutting of the twine and the strapping section is assigned at least for the strapping section and the twine on this strapping section. The cutting device is made with the ability to move along the strapping section. The sausage product is stuffed into a shell installed in front, and, after stuffing a predetermined portion, a binding area is formed for the next sausage product by tying a thread or twine around this area. This continues for strapping from one sausage product to another, while the strapping section and the thread or twine are cut off on this strapping section using an automatically working cutting device made with the ability to move along the strapping section and radially to the strapping section, or along the strapping section.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a reduction in the number of erroneous cuts.
