FIELD: material processing.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for pre-processing of a metal surface containing aluminum or an aluminum alloy, to an acidic aqueous composition for obtaining conversion coating on a metal surface containing aluminum or an aluminum alloy, to a concentrate of the mentioned acidic aqueous composition, as well as to a metal surface containing aluminum or an aluminum alloy with conversion coating, obtained by the mentioned method, and its use. In the method, the metal surface containing aluminum or an aluminum alloy is purified and then washed and brought into contact with the acidic aqueous composition for obtaining conversion coating, containing a) at least one compound selected from a group including titanium, zirconium, and hafnium compounds, and b) at least one copolymer soluble in the aqueous composition, which is linear terpolymer obtained by regulated radical polymerization and including monomeric links of vinyl phosphonic acid and monomeric links of hydroxyethyl- and/or hydroxypropyl-(meth)acrylate, and monomeric links of (meth)acrylic acid.
EFFECT: obtaining coatings serving as corrosion protection and adhesion promotor for additional coatings, as well as having good anticorrosion parameters and varnish adhesion parameters.
