FIELD: sewing notions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of sewing notions. The composite button contains a case on which at least one pad is placed on top, on the front side, which is smaller in size than the case. The case has a hole at its outer edge for fixing the pad, and also has several holes for threads fixing the button on the surface of the fabric, non-woven material. The pad at its outer edge has a column that enters the hole on the case, fastening both parts of the button. The axis of rotation of the pad passes through the column. The pad in its original state with its outer borders is located inside the outer contour of the case. To increase the geometric dimensions of the button, the pad is rotated around the axis, which shifts the pad outward, beyond part of the outer contour of the case. On the inner surface of the pad facing the case and on the outer surface of the housing there are paired mirror-like projections and recesses that are in close contact with each other if the pad is in its original position or rotated 180 degrees. The tight contact of the protrusions with the recesses makes it possible to fix the two parts of the button in relation to each other. The increased geometric dimensions of the button ensure reliable retention of the button in the loop when using clothing, sewing products.

EFFECT: variety of color solutions of the button in use is expanding.
