FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The liquid agrochemical composition of herbicidal action contains diquat dibromide, an amphoteric surfactant, mono- and/or diamide of oxygen-containing inorganic acid, C1-C8 carboxylic acid or any mixture thereof, alkaline and/or alkaline earth metal chloride or any mixture thereof and water, which is prepared by desalting it to bring its hardness to values 0.3-3.0 mg-eq./l in total of calcium and magnesium salts and iron compounds to values of 0.2-1.3 mg-eq./ l, while the content of the above components in 1 liter of the finished composition is: diquat dibromide 100-550 g; amphoteric surfactant 25-150 g; mono- and/or diamide of oxygen-containing inorganic acid, C1-C8 carboxylic acid or any mixture thereof 15-200 g; alkali and/or alkaline earth metal chloride 3.0-10.0 g; desalinated water the rest. The liquid agrochemical composition of the herbicidal action of the specified composition is obtained by preliminary desalination of the source water with bringing its hardness to values in the range of 0.3-3.0 mg-eq./l in total of calcium and magnesium salts and iron compounds to values of 0.2-1.3 mg-eq./l with further introduction of diquat dibromide into desalinated water and intensive mixing of the resulting solution. This is followed by the introduction, with intensive mixing, of the calculated amount of amphoteric surfactant, mono- and /or diamide of oxygen-containing inorganic acid, C1-C8 carboxylic acid or any mixture thereof and intensive mixing of the resulting solution, and finally the introduction into the resulting solution of the calculated amount of alkaline and/or alkaline earth metal chloride and intensive mixing of the resulting solution for another 5-15 minutes .
EFFECT: proposed liquid agrochemical composition of herbicidal action has improved physico-chemical characteristics of herbicidal compositions based on diquat dibromide, is highly effective and suitable for herbicidal treatment of plant products during its vegetation period to destroy weeds or for desiccation.
