FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: liquid suspension oil composition for treating plants during the growing season contains 1-methylcyclopropene in the form of a fine powder complex with α-cyclodextrin, fine powdered amorphous microsilica, fine powdered bentonite clay, fine powdered aluminum oxide, fine powdered alkali and/or alkaline earth metal sulfate, nonionic and/or amphoteric surfactant (surfactant) and oil, and the oil is used vegetable and/or mineral and/or synthetic oil with an absolute viscosity at room temperature of not more than 1,000 centipoise and epoxidized vegetable oil. All initial fine powders included in the composition have a maximum particle size of not more than 30 microns. The starting components are used in the following contents, mass.%: 0.5–1.5 of epoxidized vegetable oil, 0.5–5.0 of bentonite clay, 2.0–7.0 of amorphous microsilica, 0.2–2.0 of aluminum oxide, 0.25–2.5 of alkali sulfate and/r alkaline earth metal, 0.5–5.0 of nonionic and/or amphoteric surfactant, 0.15–5.0 of complex of 1-methylcyclopropene with α-cyclodextrin, the rest is vegetable and/or mineral and/or synthetic oil. A liquid suspension oil composition is prepared by mixing fine powdery components with liquid components, and the mixing of the components is performed at room temperature in three stages. At the first stage, vegetable and/or mineral and/or synthetic oil is mixed with epoxidized vegetable oil, with bentonite clay and amorphous microsilica and mixed intensively for 10–30 minutes. At the second stage, aluminum oxide, alkali and/or alkaline earth metal sulfate and a nonionic and/or amphoteric surfactant are introduced into the resulting mixture and intensively mixed for another 10–30 minutes. At the third stage, a complex of 1-methylcyclopropene with α-cyclodextrin is added and stirred vigorously for another 10–30 minutes.
EFFECT: proposed liquid suspension oil composition for treating plants has a low release rate of the active substance in an aqueous solution, which allows its use in industrial garden sprayers without any additional modification, ensures a reduction in fruit shedding in the pre-harvest period as a result of treating fruit on trees with the claimed composition during the growing season, expansion of harvest period, is stable and has low release of 1-methylcyclopropene during storage.
