FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of developing metal-cladding additives for lubricants. Proposed is an additive for lubricants, including a lubricating oil and a copper component, characterised by additionally containing oleic acid diethanolamide, and a copper plate being used as a copper component, wherein the ratio of oleic acid diethanolamide, copper component, and lubricating oil in wt.% is: 15.0–19.3 : 0.4–2.4 : 78.3–84.6.
EFFECT: proposed additive allows for an increase in the longevity of friction units of parts of mechanisms with a simultaneous reduction in the cost of maintenance thereof due to the reduced wear and friction coefficient in the tribosystem.
