FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of creation of lubricant materials and can be used in manufacturing lubricants for reducing the wear on friction surfaces of parts of machines and mechanisms for various purposes. Described is a method for producing a lubricant composition for reducing the wear of friction surfaces of parts of machines and mechanisms for various purposes, including a stage of mixing a copper component with oil; characterised by adding oleic acid diethanolamide, and using a chelate complex of said acid, produced by dissolving a copper plate in oleic acid diethanolamide, as a copper component, wherein the ratio of copper, oleic acid diethanolamide, and lubricating oil is as follows, % wt.: 0.4 to 2.4:15.0:82.6 to 84.6.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method allows for a significant reduction in the wear and friction coefficient in the tribosystem, increase in the longevity of friction assemblies of mechanism parts, and reduction in the costs of maintenance thereof.
