SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a next generation mobile communication system. To realise the technical request, the user terminal comprises: a control section configured to control, when the first search space for the signal of beam failure recovery query response is set in a primary cell (PCell), the monitoring of the first search space and a second search space other than the first search space; and a reception section configured to monitor at least one from the first search space and the second search space. The control section is therein configured to control for the monitoring of the second search space, depending on whether the first search space and the second search space have a quasi-colocation (QCL) correlation of a preset type.
EFFECT: possibility of configuration wherein, in the operation of beam recovery of a future radio communication system, a search space other than the search space for the signal of beam failure recovery query response (BFRQR) is monitored.
