SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of storage of oil and oil products in tanks. The method for determining the loss of oil and oil products from small breaths during storage in tanks consists in recording the values of atmospheric pressure, the temperature of the gas space of the tank, the temperature of the upper layer of oil or oil product, the level of oil or oil product in the tank, determining the mass of exhaled vapors through breathing valves according to certain formulas.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and simplifying the determination of mass losses of oil and oil products.
