FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices intended for oil tank vapour recovery and limitation. A target of the invention is to increase tightness of an atmospheric tank, reduction of oil product losses in result of in-breathing during long-term storage. The invention concept lies in that the device limiting oil product vapours during long-term storage is made as a fan-folded bag of a soft strong material resistant to benzene, it is filled with air and does not let vapours passing, it is capable to increase or decrease its volume in a horizontal plane. The device is fixed by ropes to the oil tank cover inside its gas space. It communicates with atmosphere through an outlet fitting installed at the tank cover. The bag occupies 25-80% of the total gas space in the tank.

EFFECT: improvement of an atmospheric tank tightness, reduction of oil product losses in result of in-breathing during long-term storage (up to 0,001-0,01%) as well as reduction of material consumption (2-5 times) for the device manufacturing.
