FIELD: pipeline sensors.
SUBSTANCE: sensor for monitoring the tightness of a pipeline valve by the drip and bubble method, which is a body (1) with a tube (4) installed in it with a central channel and an optical sensor (6). The tube (4) is rigidly connected to the optical sensor (6) and mounted on a suspension (7), and the outlet end of the tube (4) is made in the form of an oblique cut (5).
EFFECT: reduction of the error in measuring the number of liquid drops and gas bubbles in determining the leakage of the medium through the valve of pipeline valves is achieved.
