FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a threshold device of a slag door of a metallurgical furnace. The threshold device contains a metal case extended along the longitudinal axis (X) from an inlet end to an outlet end, an inlet (IN) for cooling liquid near the inlet end, and an outlet (OUT) for cooling liquid near the outlet end. A collector cavity for liquid is made inside the case, located in a case wall. The collector cavity is hydraulically connected to the outlet for working fluid. Besides the collector cavity, there are cooling channels in the case, made in the case wall and hydraulically connected to the inlet for cooling liquid (IN) and to the collector cavity.
EFFECT: increase in a service life of a threshold device is provided.
