SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cardan shaft with a diaphragm. The cardan shaft comprises an elongated rotating sliding rod, a tubular sleeve that is telescopically engaged with a sliding rod, a bearing assembly mounted on the sliding rod by means of a roller cage, and a diaphragm attached to the adjacent tubular sleeve from the distal end. The locking part is provided on the bearing assembly and holds the diaphragm on the bearing assembly in such a way that the diaphragm is attached directly to the bearing assembly from the proximal end.

EFFECT: reduction in the length of the diaphragm and the sliding rod of the cardan shaft with a splined joint is achieved.
