FIELD: bearings testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the testing of bearings. The method consists in excitation of natural oscillations and measurement of oscillation parameters, which are excited by a piezoelectric transducer connected to a hardware-software complex based on microprocessor technology with specialized software. Wherein the transducer is installed on the bearing ring, previously lubricated with a contact liquid to ensure acoustic contact. After that, n1 excitations of the transducer are performed with oscillations with a period t and the number of reflected oscillations k1 is recorded. Then the number of transducer excitations n2 by oscillations with period t is increased and the number of reflected oscillations k2 is recorded. The coefficient of growth of natural oscillations of the bearing ring R is determined by the formula, the minimum value of the growth coefficient of natural oscillations Rmin for a defect-free ring is determined, and if R is less than Rmin, the product is rejected.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency and simplifying the process of monitoring the press fit of bearing rings.
