FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture; it can be used for tuberous analysis of potato batches in potato growing, seed production, plant protection, as well as for research purposes for breeding nematode-resistant potato varieties and studying interaction of nematodes and bacteria. A method for assessment of the infection with tuberous nematode Ditylenchus destructor of potato tubers affected by wet rot includes selection of tubers affected by wet rot, freezing, and analysis by a phytohelminthological method including the assessment of the infection with potato nematode of tubers affected by wet rot in Petri dishes.
EFFECT: reduction in terms, and increase in the efficiency of the assessment of the infection with tuberous nematode of potato tubers affected by wet rot; proposed method allows for study at any suitable time and for a long period of time.
