A method for assessment of the infection with tuberous nematode Ditylenchus destructor of potato tubers affected by wet rot includes selection of tubers affected by wet rot, freezing, and analysis by a phytohelminthological method including the assessment of the infection with potato nematode of tubers affected by wet rot in Petri dishes.

EFFECT: reduction in terms, and increase in the efficiency of the assessment of the infection with tuberous nematode of potato tubers affected by wet rot; proposed method allows for study at any suitable time and for a long period of time.
