FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves growing biological test objects in aqueous solutions or agent suspensions of different concentrations; providing conditions for visual observation and periodical evaluation of results. Test objects are grown in spherical glass tubes and/or in four-chamber glasses with spherical magnifying walls placed in illuminated biological thermostat. Method further involves providing control growing in water; maintaining temperature of +28 C and air relative humidity of 100% in biological thermostat. Duration of light day is 18 hours. Method may be used for selection and determining of the effect of biostimulators, fertilizers, biological preparations, toxic chemicals, toxins and pathogenes upon biological test objects. EFFECT: increased labor intensity in investigation of optimum concentration of agents and determining hazard threshold and most probable negative action upon wider range of biological test objects. 3 cl, 1 ex
