FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: aqueous suspension is prepared by 7-day pure culture of fungus Rhizopus Ehrenb. with concentration of 4500-5000 spore/ml, which is used to spray heads of sunflower in phase of "blooming end" in amount of 4-5 ml per single head. Isolator is placed onto treated head, which is removed in 3 days. Visual assessment of immunological reaction of plant is carried out in phase of head ripening by distribution of affection on its back surface. Differentiation of resistance is carried out by extent of this surface affection, including those into resistant ones, which have affection area of 0-25%, medium-resistant ones - 26-50%, perceptive ones - 51-75%, highly perceptive ones - 76-100% of total area of back surface of head.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide for conditions of sunflower head infection, which are close to natural ones, and to expand arsenal of methods for selection of sunflower resistant to rots.
