FIELD: pipeline accessories.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to auxiliary devices for the pipeline and duct network. The liquid or gas flow rate suppressor includes a quenching chamber made with the possibility of twisting oncoming flows in opposite directions. The chamber is made in the form of a toroidal structure consisting of a hollow open torus with screw-shaped corrugations and a gap in the form of a central hole. A pair of inlet pipes is coaxially connected to the toroidal structure, the axes of which intersect the axis of the central hole, and on the side of the latter in the wall of the toroidal structure there is a pair of coaxial outlet holes separated by a central hole, the axes of which intersect the axis of the central hole and are oriented perpendicular to the axes of the inlet pipes.

EFFECT: when implementing the invention, higher manufacturability and a simpler design are achieved while ensuring a high degree of quenching of the energy of the flow.
