FIELD: technique of liquid media spraying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid media spraying technique and can be used in liquid coolers, in air conditioning systems, in air humidification systems, in fuel-burning devices, in fire extinguishing systems, as well as equipment of other technological processes. Toroidal atomizer comprises element with cavity and pair of opposite holes, and possibility of arrangement of inlet for sprayed medium, outlet hole, and overlapping of the latter from inner side of nozzle by element facing its cavity to outlet hole. Element is made in the form of an open hollow torus (1) with central hole (2) oppositely located in the wall of torus (1). There are inlet (3) and outlet (4) openings, with formation of wall section on inner side of toroid (1), which is facing concave side to outlet hole (4) with overlapping of the latter on the side of central hole (2). Wall section faces concave side to outlet opening (4) with overlapping of the latter on opposite side of convex side of toroid (1).
EFFECT: invention provides a design version of the nozzle, having a simpler design while providing a high degree of dispersion of the atomized medium.
