FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment applied in the process of conducting geophysical surveys of petroleum and gas boreholes with autonomous instruments, and can be used for contact-free determination of the rotation angle of the shaft of a cable winch. Contact-free measurement of the rotation angle of the shaft is provided by using a set of two identical apparatus installed by means of a common clamp ring on the outer circumference of the shaft. An accelerometer is used as a sensitive sensor of the apparatus. The base of the body of the apparatus is made in the form of a recess shaped as an isosceles trapezoid, ensuring the self-centering thereof when installed on shafts of various diameters, leading to the additional forces acting on the sensitive sensors and introducing errors to the measurements being equal and possible to be compensated by a mathematical method.
EFFECT: possibility for the application of the invention on the entire stock of drilling rigs, regardless of the diameter of the winch shaft.
