FIELD: filters.
SUBSTANCE: filtering apparatus (1) is used to filter cooling gas in an integrated compressor unit. Gas circulates in two directions between two concentric cylindrical walls (W0, W1), forming a channel (5). The walls (W0, W1) are part of the detachable internal cartridge (2) and the body of the motor of the integrated motor-driven compressor whereon the cartridge (2) is installed. The gas is supplied to the channel (5) through an inlet (6), divided into two descending flows, and converges again from two opposite directions at the bottom of the channel (5). A turbulence zone is created before the first outlet (7), wherein some of the larger particles are captured and eventually fall into the first outlet (7), affected by gravity. The filtered particles fill the channel (5) and pass through the upper second outlets (8a, 8b) located in the intermediate position of the channel (5). The filtered gas passes through the second outlets (8a, 8b) and reaches the inner channel (4) leading to the bearings in need of cooling.
EFFECT: ensured filtraion of cooling gas in an integrated compressor unit.
