FIELD: cryogenic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic technology and can be used to create mobile modular complexes for hydrogen liquefaction. Hydrogen liquefaction method includes pre-cooling of hydrogen flow, hydrogen ortho-para conversion, further cooling and liquefaction of hydrogen by reverse flow of refrigerant of low-temperature liquefaction circuit, expansion and direction of liquid hydrogen to hydrogen storage. The pre-cooling of the hydrogen flow is carried out by the reverse flow of the mixed refrigerant of the high-temperature pre-cooling circuit (HT PC) and the reverse flow of the mixed refrigerant of the low-temperature pre-cooling circuit (LT PC) in the first and second heat exchangers HT PC and then by the reverse flow of the mixed refrigerant HT PC in the first and second heat exchangers LT PC. The reverse flow of the refrigerant HT PC is compressed, cooled and partially condensed, separated into a gaseous and liquid phase, which are cooled, throttled and directed by the reverse flow. The reverse flow of the refrigerant LT PC after leaving the first heat exchanger HT PC is compressed, cooled, condensed in the first heat exchanger HT PC and separated into a gaseous and liquid phase, which are cooled, throttled and directed by the reverse flow.
EFFECT: reduction of energy costs and the likelihood of failures in the liquefaction of hydrogen.
