FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. The device for detecting the living tissue of the subject contains: an optical radiation source made with the possibility of emitting optical radiation on the subject’s tissue; a photodetector made with the possibility of receiving optical radiation reflected from the subject’s tissue and optical radiation reflected from the subject’s bloodstream, wherein the optical radiation reflected from the subject’s bloodstream has a Doppler shift relative to the optical radiation reflected from the subject’s tissue, and the photodetector is made with the possibility of forming a high-frequency Doppler signal based on the said Doppler shift; a detection unit capable of receiving a high-frequency Doppler signal from a photodetector and converting it into a low-frequency signal; and a computing unit capable of determining the presence of living tissue based on a low-frequency signal from the detection unit by calculating the parameters of the low-frequency signal and comparing the calculated parameters of the low-frequency signal with the corresponding reference values. A method implemented by the said device and a wearable widget in which the said device is embedded to detect the living tissue of the subject are proposed.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and speed of detecting the living tissue of the subject.
