FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering. The device for maximum current protection of electrical installations contains a platform having two longitudinal and transverse slots, with three plates mounted on its surface with reed switches fixed on them, a threaded rod, the first scale, the first and second fly nuts, the outputs of the reed switches are connected to the input of the timing unit, to the output of which the actuator is connected. The initial position of the platform is horizontal with its installation on the frame of the pull-out trolley of a high-voltage switch located in the switch gear cell of the switch gear-2 series. Flat rods are inserted to the platform through longitudinal and transverse slots at an equal distance from each other, the upper ends of which are attached to the end of the plates. On the outer side of each plate, three reed switches are fixed at different angles with the possibility of changing their position to the cross-sectional plane of the current-carrying bus.
EFFECT: provision of remote selection of the maximum current protection settings by means of remote movement of the reed switches relative to the plane of the current-carrying buses.
